- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The mp4 is up. Please notify me if you still think it strange, thank you. ^^"ScorpionP wrote::O

EDIT: The quality was kinda strange... Other than that, it was good. And nice to see a non-action FLCL video, too.
Thanks, hope you like the mp4 thats up right now. I'm no expert but I find there's quite a difference in quality between itself and the avi.Unlimited Rice wrote:Cool video, wish I could get this in higher quality(and by that, I don't just mean mp4)

Yes. I prefer it in drama videos when the effects aren't too obvious. To make sure it doesn't take away from the point and the actual drama.dj_ultima_the_great wrote: I think what I like best about this video is that there were a decent amount of effects, but they were done in subtle ways and I didn't really notice many of them until I read the video description afterwards. It's little touches like that that make a video just that much better.

Wow, thank you. Yeh ,it was quite hard making a whole video on those 2 without going out of context. It kinda felt like I was recycling episode 2 over and over again. I'm just glad to see that there are people who can appreciate that.N0OB wrote: Easily the most moving FLCL video since NightOwls "Mad World". This was incredible, and a perfect example of video editing at its peak. This is exactly what an AMV should be. Excellent...well hmm....I don't want to go as far as to say storytelling, but thats definitely what it felt like. You basically took episode two and put it under a magnifying glass with this one, exploring all the aspects of Naota and Mamimi's "relationship" if you even want to call it that.
My only complaint, and its been said, is the video quality. But this AMV more than makes up for it. I'm going to give this a VERY solid 5/5 despite the minor video quality issues.
Don't forget not Action. =Pomegaevolution wrote:as some peope have said, quality could have been better, but man finally I get to see a FLCL vid that its not Comedy, Fun or a Parody O__O!!. Brilliant editing and lyric synch, a VERY solid vid that gets a 5/5 from me![]()
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. ^^Funky-kun wrote:Except for frame blending, absolutely solid video. Effects were integrated smoothly and you show some nice editing skills. GJ!

MPEG-4 is Half Sized??

Did you decrease the bitrate on purpose?
BTW : I'm pretty sure you used "smart blur" in this video
Watched the MP4, other than a few minor problems with ugly blocks (right at the start and near the end) the video quality was relatively the same, albeit the half sized file...
