- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Rukia's Summer Son
Hope the Vid ID worked =D
Either way, hope you all enjoy this...description of the video is on my page but...
I had a really hard time getting this ready to upload. This is my first time using Premiere (coming over from WMM) and let me tell you I can not get AVIsynth, Vdub, or AMVApp to work for me...be it computer errors, user errors, or what have you...
I had to convert this with EO video as an xvid but I don't think the quality is as good as it could be...
This is kind of a beta run for me so any C&C would be great. I want to make this video better and better since I now do not have much time to start many new projects for the future...
Let me know ladies and gents =D Thanks!
It is now available for local download...don't know if the last one was broken heh..

Okie dokie. I'll downloadie.
EDIT:
While Dial-Up does suck, I did manage to download this over the last few hours. (Started Before I posted BTW)
Anyway, this actually kind of surprised me. The music was kind of subtle, but worked well with the Bleach footage, surprisingly enough. Though it felt like an action video most of the time. The beat sync was subtle and well done, IMO. Beat sync was consitant and well done. The beat sync also worked well the music choice. I think the footage could have used some work, as it looked sort of fuzzy at times. Though it wasn't too distracting
. The overall story has been told over and over again, and Bleach is overused, but I must say for a second AMV, this is actually pretty well done. In short, I'm impressed with the hard work and dedication you have put into this.
So, in overview.
- Work on footage (which wasn't too horrible, actually)
- Work on original concept
But, like I stated before, this was a pleasent surprise indeed.
3.75/5 (Slightly Above Average Level)

ermm...haha good question...Ileia wrote:I gotta ask: Who's the father?
Either way, thank you for the reviews and replies guys. I know the concept is over used and so is bleach but this is all I had to work with as it is the only anime I have w/o subs...
To me that was more important than most things....I tried to pick a song most people have not even heard of rather than picking something else that is too trendy. Yeah bleach action AMV's are trendy but I did not want to lose myself over trying to work with premiere yet haha...
thanks for the advice guys =D I dunno if I should add more effects or not or just try to get it compressed with a better format =/ hrm...gotta find something not every has used now...
I just watched it again and watched my first amv that I made and I must say...that first one was pretty garbage now that I think about it +( Going to remake that one...
