One of our members, tajjej, also does a little programming. He has written a program called AVS Script Creator. It automates the creation of repetitive scripts for the program AVISynth. AVISynth is a program that is used extensively by the AMV community. There are even guides available at AnimeMusicVideos.org on how to use it.

Version 2.18

Post by tajjej » Sat Feb 26, 2005 6:24 pm

I have released version 2.18 of AVS Script Creator.

It has a few minor updates. Dialogs and edits that hold drive and path info are now synched. I capitalized the button text. I added two menu items under the "File" menu. And I changed several menu shortcuts.

Also, if you change anything, the program will ask if you want to save the changes. It asks when you try to load a new template/.ini combo or when you exit the program.

I hope you like the changes and continue to use the program.

Thanks,
tajjej

Version 2.22 is now available. It can be downloaded from our website: CLRStudio

It contains a bug fix: The data saved and loaded to the registry was going to the wrong location when saved. The "Options" menu items "Load Template .ini's" and "Save Template .ini's" are now corrected.

The documentation for the program is now a .pdf file. I hope this makes it easier to learn and use. It includes a screenshot of the main window. All the dialogs should be simple enough to understand on their own.

Once again I ask, if you find any bugs, or have any suggestions, please contact me. You can do so here or through our website. Or through the contact information in the .pdf file.

Strange. That shouldn't happen.

Hhmmm...? I just downloaded it through both links. The one on the main page for AVS Script Creator and the one on the screenshot page. Both worked without a hitch.

Farlo, if you contact me through tajjej@ev1.net (please put "AVS Script Creator" in the subject line) I will e-mail you a copy. If you will host it also, I will add your site as a download source. I appreciate the offer very much!

Let me know if you have any more problems.

You're probably being misrouted somewhere. Nothing to be done about it here - blame your ISP.
