Do I have suggestions...indeed I do! You happened to list some of my favorite anime there, so...let's pull up the list of ideas I wrote. There. Here goes.
Chobits - Del Amitri - "Roll to Me" - a semi-romantic Chi/Hideki video that details how she keeps getting herself into bad situations. Upbeat song and just a little over two minutes long.
X TV - 12 Stones - "Broken" - my baby idea for a side character video. Yuzuriha/Kusanagi (1st verse/chorus), Sorata/Arashi (2nd verse/chorus), and Subaru Seishirou (bridge). An angsty romance rock song. Very upbeat and would allow for not only the action scenes of X, but a strong story as well.
Chobits - Avril Lavigne - "Nobody's Home" - a depressing profile for Yumi, Shimizu, and Chi. Separated much like the above idea.
X TV - Good Charlotte - "A New Beginning" - would make for an interesting action-packed, trailer-like video. The opening music box sounds could utilize childhood scenes.
X TV - 3 Doors Down - "Let Me Go" - a sweet, but somewhat sad Yuzuriha/Kusanagi video.
X TV - HIM - "Join Me in Death" - listen to the lyrics and the video is pretty self-explanatory.
Angelic Layer - Demon Hunter - "My Heartstrings Come Undone" - a sad video profiling the relationship between Misaki and her mother.
Savage Garden - "Gunning Down Romance" - one of my all-time favorite songs. If you can come up with a good anime for it, then have at it. The Ah! My Goddess Movie is the closest I've ever come.
I do have one or two other ideas, but I'm not listing them for a couple of reasons. 1. I may actually do them myself...someday... 2. I already have the editing laid out so well in my head (right down the the effect choice) that you'd have to conform to that level of detail before I'd be satisfied with the result. 3. They might be a bit too vague yet. I haven't worked out the details of scene selection and whatnot.
Yeah...that's a lot of X, but it's also the anime I've come up with the most ideas for.
