Staff for Amateur AMV Website

Post by DedVane » Sun Aug 01, 2004 9:25 pm

Hey. I'm looking for a person who would like to be staff on my amateur AMV Website, Anime-MV.com. Basically I'm looking for an experienced editor who would like to make exclusive AMVs, in a less crowded environment than this monstrous site.
My email is laughla1@hotmail.com. Thanks to all interested.

Do you even understand the purpose of animemusicvideos.org?
"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

You'll also notice it's a 6MB flash intro.

Are there rules against blatant spamming/advertising like this?

Because if there aren't, there should be.

There's some pretty nasty blocking issues where he took the source from fansubs, too.

I think the problem is that most of us were wondering why you even bothered too. The purpose of a-m-v.org is to be the most complete catalogue of AMVs there is. Your site detracts from that purpose, relies on advertising (which the 'Org has never had to do), and really just adds nothing to the scene.
