an amv that perants can enjoy! (request)

i want my perants to have some basic enjoyment of anime. and putting together there favor music along with anime, i think i can trick them in to thinking it is good. seeing how i lack the ability to make amv at this time i was wonding if some one could make me a cool billy holiday amv of the song "lover man" for my mom and "wisky lalaby" (i think that is how you spell it) for my dad and put lot of sucidal anime in his.... (hehehehe).... i dont think any one will make me an amv (if all the banners i read are correct) just the thought of getting my voice out is good enuff for me.... (sucidal anime... tee hee hee)

Look, kid, even if you use your parent's favorite songs...they still probably aren't gonna like anime. Mostly because a lot of people, especially older folks (40+) don't get it and they simply don't want to. If someone subconsiously doesn't WANT to be interested in something, then they never will be. It's sorta like wearing blinders. Even if there's some chance of untapped interest it'll be lost cause they simply aren't looking. Now, yes, there are exceptions, but uh, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Asking your parents to try and understand anime is like asking you to understand the joy of polyester and fondu parties.

you don't have to understand anime to enjoy an AMV. My mother and several of her friends have seen my videos and enjoy them enough to want a dvd of them. they know the songs i use, they enjoy them, and they enjoy the editing i do.

To this day when my mom visits I get asked to play <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... rikuruu</a>. Of course, I also get asked to play <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 4121">Fuck Bebop</a> and <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... d=23949">I Wish I Were A Lesbian</a> frequently so perhaps my moms judgement isn't the best of indicators for what normal parents would like. I don't mind the first one but the fact she asks for the other two makes me wonder about her sometimes.
