Anime and music association

This topic is kinda rough to place, because it could go in the "Anime". "Music" and "AMV" sections, so I thought it'd be safe bet to post it here.

With most of us watching AMVs everyday, a person tends to start relating one with the other. It gets even wierder when a you always picture a certain song with a specific anime, and vice versa. My biggest thing is that whenever I listen to a certain song, I'll most likely start picturing a certain anime in my head, just because of an influencial AMV I had probably watched. Any combination you have stuck in your head?

Whenever I hear the song "I'm with you" by Avril Lavigne, I automatically start thinking about .hack//SIGN. I used to watch an AMV with this combination all the time.

The song "Your Song" by Elton John, with the anime Kare Kano. I remember a really good vid with these two.

I get that quite a bit especially with DDR tracks. If the music video is good, I get a BETTER grade on DDR itself. For example, Lostboy's Captain Jack video got me an A on the real thing.

Well, thanks to Dark Kamui and MeriC, I always link LP's 'In the End,' and 'Crawling' to not just dbz but Vegeta and Trunks specifically. Even if I used one of these songs, I still think of those characters any time I hear them.

And Foreigner's 'I want to know what love is' will always make me think of Card Captor Sakura (thanks go to Loveable Neko Kyou for that one). And Gerard McMan's 'Cry Little Sister' is made for YYH (Hiei and Yukina) - I can't imagine listening to that song and not thinking of them (Xenia gets credit for this).

Pretty much any great emotional vid will give me a near permanent link of anime and song. But it helps if I've seen the anime. ^_^;

There are too many songs that I associate with AMVs because it was what made me like the song. It's an attacthment. When I see the real videos I think to myself "that isn't the video" even though it really is the real video. I know I have issues. ^_^**

I find that I can't stand most professional music videos. They either lack the awesome editing skills that I find here or they make no sense what-so-ever and are all flashy trash...

Every time I hear Tane Tomoko's "Message #9" I think of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.(It's a video game... Credit for the AMV to KLin).

So yeah, When That Haibane Renmei video in AWA Pro(or was it mastrers?) used it..(I can't remember if it was vicbond or DannyWilson for some reason ><) I went totally insane.

I couldn't watch the video because I was all "NO! That's 'Soul 2 Soul''s song!"

Devolution can vouch that I acted so very rude while that video was played... Sorry. -_-;;

Whenever I ever hear anything by Nickelback, I always start thinking about Cowboy Bebop. I guess it's due to all the combinations that have been made using the two together. lol

I always link Hit or miss - A New Found Glory to the video made by VegettoEX (www.daizex.com).

And for some odd reason I always mix Kiki's delivery service with the speed racer theme song
