What constitutes a violent video?
I was just wondering what would class as a violent video and wouldnt be allowed to be uploaded to the .org?
**Spoilers**
My latest video uses scenes from Kenshin (ep 30 where Kenshin gets skewerd by saihto (sp), the opening from blood and the episode from inu yasha where Kouga gets slashed to bits by Kaguras Fujin no mai (sp). Would this result in the video being classed as violent?
If anyone can clarify theis for me i would greatly appreciate it

Not really sure but better safe than sorry!Gokuh18 wrote:I was just wondering what would class as a violent video and wouldnt be allowed to be uploaded to the .org?
I have neglected to upload one of my videos because it was, by my definition, pretty graphic and gratuitously so. Nothing out of the ordinary just mass production evas being shredded and disemboweled by hand. Seemed kind of over the top for uploadability.
I would say that if characters are getting skewered or cleaved into more pieces then they began the video with, it’s probably going to be too violent. (Is there even such a thing?)

Well i have descided to upload it to the .org , i dont think that kenshin is excesivley graphic, the worst thing that happens is he gets tabbed in his left side. Anyways, if its ok to release it on dvd and aim it at teenagers then i cant see why this would eb disallowed. Plus the fact, i have seen alot more graphic amvs than mine.

But what about stuff like Princess Mononoke? Sure there are a few scenes of removal of limbs, but I wouldn't consider it excessive graphic violence.Mr Pilkington wrote:I still prefer my methodSSJVegita0609 wrote:The way I judge for my vids is anything that I'd be afraid to show my mother.

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.
