You know, at first I respected you disliking me because of that. But this is just petty. Go ahead and hold it against me, but don't bring it into the forum.

Just shitty art.
Well said.

Back on topic:

I think it could be very useful to see an AMV played in a store setting. In a convention people are there to see AMV's. What happens when you take away the pre-assembled audience and replace them with busy shoppers. How many people glance at the video? Once they have seen it, how long do they watch it for. It would be a great mesure of how compelling and engaging your AMV really is. Plus to see the reaction of people semi-outside the anime comunity.

I've made no attempt to earn your respect Flint. Therefore I'm not bothered by it's absence. But considering how little respect *I* hold for a spectacle such as yourself, please at least repress any ideas you have of me doing you favors such as throttling where I speak or the content I choose to speak of. I owe you nothing, and that is truely what is reasonable to expect from me.

I have nothing else to say about this currently, at least until something else noteworthy comes spewing forth from your posts.... which I doubt will take very long at all.

I wouldn't mind my videos being played, but it'd be nice if I was contacted about it beforehand.

I wouldn't mind my videos being played to advertise something, but it very much depends on what's being sold.

There's no law or right for me to take credit for my video, but there's artistic respect, something I hope others have towards other artists.

Respect that.

No one cares about your opinion of Flint, furthermore it was unprovoked and off-topic.

Take it elsewhere.

I think everyone that ever posted a video on the org wanted it. It's just the details that come with it.

I think I'd have to agree with Trythil, here (OMG!).

Having been in an expierence similiar to this, I have to say when I found out I was very, VERY mad.

But then again, my video was ripped from the editor when it wasn't even done yet and slapped on television. So I guess there's a difference.

Anyway, point being, if they didn't ask beforehand, if they didn't give me credit for editing it, and if they were using it to sell something I don't approve of, hell yes I'd totally be frustrated.

That's like using secretly-recorded (For your own purposes) video of your vagina, and then the advertising company stealing it and using your vagina for yest infection inserts.

Just. Wrong.

SQ, that sounds like a helluva story. Where's the full saga written down?
