For the love of god stop pimping your site/contest/video in every post, it's driving me insane!

Add to that the majority sentiment that Real Media is not a well-liked file format within the .org, and you've got a six-pack of annoyance just skunking away at the back of the fridge.

All right, I'll let everyone know:

I've found a song that would actually work for a DBZ video. It's got a lot of noise and crunch, and doesn't say a whole lot lyrically (in short, it's a perfect match). I won't say what the source is, since I don't want imitators ruining it, but it's not anything by any group I've heard announced up to this point.

I will see what is rentable and even check the libraries for DBZ DVDs or tapes, so that the quality is there (no downloaded crap or Cartoon Network bugs in the corner).

Everyone here who knows me is aware that I do not like Dragonball Z. I think it's shallow, glacially paced at times, and is little more than a merchandising machine featuring musclebound and muscle-brained steroid freaks who fight at the drop of a hat.

However, the song has rooted itself in my brain, and constantly whispers into my mind that a good video could be had from it. I'm listening to it on the way to work and to home, and it will not let me go.

So I'm doing what I considered unthinkable just a month ago: making a DBZ AMV with the express purpose of showing all the children out there how a seasoned veteran does it.

And no, it won't be encoded in .rm format.

ridiculous rules!!! like what? most all (99.99%) of the dbz web sites I have been to dont have mvs over 20MB. that is a rule so people can see the m.v. and if it takes so long why would they wait and vote, they might just decide to vote before they see or they might not want to see because it is over 50MB which u can get high quality episodes 20 min long in. also only dbz because, guess what? our site is a dbz site, did u know that, u guys just live in a different world, I know a couple people like ssjvegita0609 and this guy trunks ssj at dbzmm.net who make anime and dbz mvs and like both, YOU people could probably not make a good dbz amv thats why i want to see u do it, or tell me the link of one u made

Wait wait wait, how many people are you allowing to vote? If it's everyone that downloads the video, then I'll submit one of mine, sign up for as many e-mail address as I can, ans stuff the proverbial box. Not only that, I'll tell my friends to spread the word like your sister spreads her legs. And I don't know about you, but I haven't seen many "high quality" video that's 20 minutes and under 50 MB. If I'm not mistaked, DivX encoded videos run about 7 MB to the minute, so 20 minutes = 140 MB.

Just because other DBZ contests have crap rules and your rules are a little less crap doesn't say the rules to your contest aren't still crap.

BTW. I don't want to flame you so please stop pimping your contest/site/video in every contest and you should be fine.
