It's for the fun of it, not for popularity, nor for all people to like it. Bring people cheer with an new AMV, show them new stuff, and make them love you!

You're forgetting about having fun, seeing your ideas realized in video, making something other people enjoy, and, if you're into that kind of thing, gaining recognition.Pyle wrote:There is nothing to gain by making AMV's, just self-loathing and smug satisfaction. They are, in the end, just movies.
hmph, welcome to a-m-v.org where your amv will get a 1 star and no ops after 500 hits.SuperFusion wrote:Bring people cheer with an new AMV, show them new stuff, and make them love you!![]()
you sir are completely right... and since you have a quote from zabuza i have to agree with you 100%...Muyo_Ryu wrote:You menthioned fun? Making AMVs is fun? Actually, it pisses me off, with premiere being the lord-of-the-bugged ... and ripping dvds taking ages, and encoding, and sometimes working for half an hour on 2 seconds which no one even notices ... usually not even yourself.
I love making amvs, but I certainly don't have FUN doing them lol. Correct me if I am wrong though, by all means.

I stopped making amv's for people who might like the band or the anime when I realised this hard truth quickly. So I make my amvs because I want to do it, I dont give 2 shits what think about it unless its in an op and well i dont seem to get many of them, but hey if theres a vid i like ill op it.
