This is dumb. People can run around in the GAMV and annoucement forums and makes thousands of inane flaming one-liner posts and account more uselessness than half the people with these titles. The only difference is whether or not they put the crap in the toilet or spread it around the 'house.'

As for making videos - what does one have to do with the other? How does the forum you post in effect your editing skills or storytelling abilities? I seriously doubt people post while editing, with both screens minimized so they can do both at the same time - and that's the only way the two would be tied to each other. And even if someone *did* do that - they'd have a better chance at being original by reading over the OT than the repeated threads in the GA and GAMV forums.

Is it just me, or is the amount of unhelpful, discouraging "elitist" bullshit being posted to the org even higher now that the OT is gone?

Yeah, well anyway I need to get back to work on my first video now anyway, I just hope that beowulf won't flame me in site announcements for how bad it sucks once I get it out.

You can always follow Fyrt's suggestion to get rid of the title - just make a bunch of useless posts in other places, once you make enough of them the title goes away. The only reason you have it in the first place is because you made off-topic posts in the right forums. Just forget all about that and you'll get rid of the title quickly enough.

And after all, no title, no problem.

Why not PM the ones who pissed you off and bitch them out for it instead of making generalizations about a whole host of people - some of whom have never said a word against you. No need to turn a personal issue into a diss against a certain group just because they posted in three specific forums. I'm sure some of the ones who made you angry *didn't* have that title, so PM them and take it out on them - if some happen to have that title, PM them as well. But do it because of what they did to piss you off, not where they posted.
