Even if the voices in my head aren't real, they have some Damn good ideas, you're just jealous because they only talk to me.

I like this idea. It's exactly what I've been longing for in one form or another. I read through the other discussion on the whole thing and I see it's faults. It really might not be best implemented by a-m-v.org, but rather in small groups created on their own (like the creator of the other topic mentioned).
I'm at the point where I've scourged over the guides, done hard-core crunching on my brain learning the programs, process, things to consider, and planning and finishing three vids. No tutoring could have replaced that experience of learning on my own determination, and I received help when I got specific technical problems at these forums. But right now I feel like I need more than that. With my writing, my art.. I'm the kind of person that thrives best when I can bounce ideas off of other people I've gotten to know for a project and get encouraging and helpful feedback before I finish that project.
I find myself talking about my project details and what I'm working on and what parts I'm talking to to my dad and some friends, but I know at least half of it goes right over their heads. ^_^;;
For those of you who prefer working and learning on your own, that's great. But for those who feel the need for more, I think it would be a good idea for those of us to form small "support" groups. Just a group of 5 or so with amv-creators of all different experience (a hard-working beginner or two, some at a more intermediate or advanced level). In my experience with writing and art, learning how to help others often helps you to improve yourself.
I'm more than for something like that if any others are interested.
