"Hey your anime music things are great!"
"Yeah really good, mate!"

I was a little flabbergasted (sp?) and said thanks and had a little chat and went on my way. It kinda tied up the end on a great week.

I was just wondering how many other people have had this kind of thing happen to them-well I know one other has BUT...
Ive had it happen. More than I could count. It gets anoying when they start asking you to make videos for themselves....Ah well good times^_^.

This is a weird story.

My sisters boyfreind was in New York taking a Greyhound back to Austin. He's a big anime fan and some girl with a sailor moon keychain or backpack or something distinguishing her as an anime fan was sitting next to him so he struck up a conversation.

They talked for a bit and she said she was going to a convention to see all the AMVs. He said "Oh yeah I love AMVs too. I actually know some guys who make them". She's like "what are their names?"

"Wonka and Beowulf from hypeodermic studios"

"OMFG NO WHEY!

"Yeah actually I'm going to their house"

She then told him that those are like her favorite videos like ever totally and that like Natural Born Killers was her like favorite video of all time and that she wanted to know were I lived.

Ahh good times :P

Yeah I've posted pics of myself a few times. But one of them is the brother of a friend who stumbled upon my AMvs by chance-saw they were by me (my profile has my real name in it :¬ O) and downloaded 'em.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

How many people live in your city?

Guess the fan wasn't so random after all, lol.

I've never had someone randomly come up to me based on AMVs, but I did have it happen based on my website a few years in a row at Otakon. That was trippy.

However...

My buddy Andrew was sitting in his Chinese class one day (he's a regular ol' white boy, mind you, like myself :P) and someone goes to him, "Hey... were you in some DBZ video?" Of course, they were referring to Meri's "<A HREF="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... ll-Purpose DBZ Music Video</A>." He was, of course, embarassed as fuck... but I laughed. And so did they. And I think he did, eventually, too.

Yeah my ex-girlfriend is my "#1 fangirl" or so she claims :P. In fact, I started my first video while we were going out and was gonna "make it for her" or something cheesy like that...and then we broke up

Funny that I finished that video anyway and am still doing this. I guess to a degree you guys can blame her for teh pain ;). Without that cheesy idea, I probably wouldn't have ever started an amv.
