i could list a couple:

Whisper of the Beast
Toushi
Gekimetsu
Jihaku

that's just off the top of my head. There are plenty of creative titles, you'll just find the majority of them aren't titles of linkin ball z videos :?

I watched Bed and Board (Domicile conjugal) last night. The protagonist, Antoine, doesn't have a title for his book. (this is paraphrased)

Guy: Coming up with titles is easy. Does your book have any songs in it?
Antoine: No.
Guy: Any Dance?
Antoine: No.
Guy: So call it No Song And Dance.

Anyway, some of my titles are more creative than others. Depends on if anything struck me. But a good title can be a wonderful thing. Anime North prints the titles of winning videos on their awards, so I have a trophy that says "This Video Sucks". :D

So basically what your saying is give you AMV a title that isn't in English 75% of the time and you'll be good to go!

I would agree with this. I admit that most of the time, my vid titles are either the name of the song or a slight deviation from it...but honestly I couldn't think of any better title at the time (and in a couple of cases - I still can't). However, I'm also one of those that prefers songs that actually *fit* the anime or concept, so maybe that's why...

Or I could be lazy...that theory has been advanced before. ;)

I used to try to use a phrase from the lyrics for each video, but I found it too constricting, so I now just brainstorm for a bit until I reach something I'm happy with. I do try to make it related in some way to the story of the video, though, for memorability's sake.

I've never downloaded an AMV based on the title, but I have avoided videos with really long, exaggerated titles.

Simplicity is not always the result of laziness, and don't assume that the video is good just because it has a title in a different language. The title of an AMV should just fit, whether it's "creative" or not.

Best. AMV. Title. Evar.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
