for me it's the shorter and of better USE (just a I LUV DIS! isn't any good) the better. Is why I think quick comments are rather backwards, yeah they can be fun (or just as spitefull depending on your point of view -_-) but I wouldn't want to disuade you from oping.

I think a section like that is a good thing.

Although just about any detailed oppinion is uniqe, so I woldn't say it needs "personalizing" per se. As for the usefulness of the section I like to add at least a seen/unseen for the video and a heard/unheard for the song. If I have any particularly strong oppinions of either, I belive that is important to include as well.

Beyond that I do not like to do oppinions by any set formula. Because each one is an expresion of feeling, they are original creations and each one has it's own style.

I always appreciate whatever info ppl wrote in their ops because I've also done the same. But only these days I have my info in an external document and hyperlink it underneath my opinion text.

i agree that i like to know that information. i put extreme effort into my vids and TIME. i dont want people to just download it and not tell me what they really thought of it (although i never get ops back). i spend time reveiwing each AMV i download and giving opinions with my personal feelings. then there are those who give you comments like"I couldn't watch it"...when it's their pc's fault. anyway, if the creator puts effort into his/her creation, they deserve a thorough commentary on their video. not just:
good job/bad job
bad quality
poor syncing
etc...

people should say how the vid touched them emotionally/intellectually/spiritually. sadly tho a lot of people here dont give comments back...

Hmm...so the general consensus seems to be that personalization = a good thing. I did consider the whole "move it to Re-viewable" thing, but then that sort of leaves my third and fourth points out in their own paragraph, and that seems a little pointless to me...no pun intended. >_>

Well, thanks for your thoughts. From the reaction, I'm thinking it would be best to leave that stuff the way I have it. But I figured I'd ask, since I don't get a lot of response comments on that first section. I just wasn't sure how many people were actually reading it. To be honest, though, it's my favorite part to write. ^_~

Thanks again. I think this gives me everything I need to know.
