I hjate to tell ya, but there've been 1 and a half linkin park MEPs that haven't seen the light of day or been finished for other reasons. It's not just this site.tyromaniac wrote:that is so stereotyping, a linkinpark multieditor project that has been going on for quite some time right now would never see the light of day. Sure, they're overused, but that's because a certain group of people likes them. Just because you are not with that group doesn't mean you should stop them. You may look just as foolish in their eyes as well. I truly dislike DBZ and such, but hey, you aren't forced to watch them. Just don't go around searching "DBZ' or "Linkin Park" and you'll be fine.
Most creators care about their fans, the yousendit thing works.
I get emails every now and then about some really old crappy videos even I hate, but I still yousendit because I find it nifty that people took the time to email me asking for it.

How about we contact the movie companies over the usage of trailer audio?DJ_Izumi wrote:Acceptable losses!Malificus wrote:Where upon, assuming FUNi does get rid of DBZ AMVs, then, of course all Burst Angel, FMA, Case Closed, etc. AMVs would also be no longer avaliable for download.

Why? And since when?MOD99 wrote:Filesharing program suggestion removed.
I can see removing links to websites that distribute unapproved material because websites that share this stuff *always* share this stuff. It's there all the time. A filesharing program is a 'possible' place to get the bad stuff. A google search is a possible place to get the bad stuff. Are we not allowed to link to google because someone might use the search engine to find stuff the org doesn't approve of? I thought we started screwing with the you-know-what-tube name because we know the site is hosting full episodes (although it's against their policy and they remove the files if you bother to let them know about the violators). Now we're banning p2p programs as a healthy alternative that doesn't store illegal content? Why? A p2p program is nothing but a search engine until you use it to obtain illegal files.
This makes it look like the org doesn't want reference to anything that might possibly serve as an alternative to itself. Unless someone's brought a lawsuit against this specific p2p program, there's absolutely no reason to blacklist it in case someone uses it to do something it's not intended for. We might as well blacklist www.animemusicvideos.org because some people use the local server to host badly compressed full episodes (and they do - until they're caught and removed, just like at you-know-what-tube). Blacklist the known guilty, not the possibly on some off chance if used the wrong way guilty.
I for one don't want to see www.google.com become a forbidden link. Removing references to p2p programs is a huge step in that direction.

Re: AMV phenomenon repair brainstorm thread
I think its because its actually more the oposite.... People for the most part use P2p programs for illegal activity, even though it can be used for legit stuff. Its quite the oposite with google. Google is mostly used for legit stuff, even though it can be used for illegal stuff aswell.Arigatomina wrote:Why? And since when?MOD99 wrote:Filesharing program suggestion removed.
