I need video reccomendations! (.mpg format!)

My computer will only allow me to watch videos in Direct .mpg format! i absolutely ADORE Amv's and it crushes me to only be able to see a few. if anyone knows of any videos in that format that have anything to do with the following animes, PLEEESE TELL ME!

Fruits Basket
Inuyasha
Spiral
Wolfs Rein
Full Metal Alchemist
Ranma 1/2
Gravitation
Final fantasy VII
Excel Saga

Just so you know, the nature of the link (local/direct/indirect) should have no bearing on your computer's ability to play back a video. If that's what you're talking about.

i downloaded all of it! ALL OF IT! for my mac, and it still won't play anything!!!!!!!!!

I'll bet i'm the only one on earth who could possilby screw THIS up!!!!!!!!!! i have every single program that would help play AMVs, and i still can't find a way to make it work....i guess i really am hopeless.... *sob*

May be the thing that you are missing are the codecs.
I also have a mac and the .mpg play well. maybe you need to download Quiktime Pro for your mac. Because if you say that you have downloaded all the videos and none of them play maybe it is because you dont have the right codecs.

Try downloading mpg2 videos.
It should not me that difficultto find mpg videos.
