I saw this on slashdot and thought that it was interesting that they are making vidoe game music videos and puttting them on the air.

It uses footage from an MTV2 Video Game video, if I recall...

...although maybe it was just 3D animation with an MTV logo.

It's not that redundant, since the show hadn't started at the time of Doki's posting.

Actually I saw this on TV the other day. It's interesting in concept but really it's not video game footage edited to anything, they use character mods to make the characters sing and/or dance to the song. So basicall you are watching a video as if the game characters are the artists. The lips are horrible though O_o some of the worst cg lip synching I've ever seen to be honest.

I saw the previews a while back at the site.
The ones I saw so far; I didnt find it all that fantastic and awesome.
Just game characters singing to the song like Knight said.
