Linkin Park Theory

Post by OtakuForLife » Sat Oct 02, 2004 9:19 am

1 : There no Anime that can't be done to a Linkin Park Track
(go ahead and try not to match)

2 : The effect Linkin Park videos will continue to populate the ORG
taking up space for other videos using lesser known bands.

3: Becuase of this the orgs server bill will continue to rise

Therefore shouldn't there be a cap on # of videos of certin band
2000 or so sounds good.

If you want to save the .org some money,

DON'T DOWNLOAD LIKIN PARK VIDEOS!

It's that simple really. I doubt the .org pays much for extra server space (and that's more or less a one-time purchase, barring thinking about extra maintenance fees). However, yes, I'm sure the .org has a sliding scale on bandwidth usage. So by not downloading them:

a) You make the appeal to produce them slightly less popular, since they won't get as many views.
b) The bandwidth usage goes down.

By whining about their prevalence on the message board, you do nothing. Newbies seem to rarely read the message boards....in fact, you just increased the bandwidth usage because I felt the need to look at this thread, hoping something intelligent was being said....

Now, if you'll excuse me....
(begins downloading another "In The End" video, because this might be the best one yet....)

That's just stupid and an insult.

People can make good Linkin Park videos, and people can make good evanesence videos.

You saying there should be a cap on how many videos there can be to a certain artist is like saying "Hey, no more DBZ videos can be made" or even "No more Eva videos can be made".

You're just really stupid for even suggesting this.

You're also forgetting the whole point of the org, anyway. It's not catalog good videos so everyone can watch them, contrary to popular belief.

It's a database of all AMVs ever created. So even the bad ones are listed here, regardless if you like it or not.

Like Badmartialartist said, if you don't like it, stop complaining about it and don't use up bandwidth by downloading them.

No one is forcing you to download them anyway.
