New Vid on The Block? What about me!?

Post by Rurounikeitaro » Fri Sep 23, 2005 11:16 am

I'm confused with this video information thing. I used to have my videos on new vid on the block the moment I confirm it. My latest 3 AMV's haven't though. I would look at the new vid on the block "ex: Super AMV" and after I confirm my upload, super AMV is still the new vid on the block, even after an hour later!

I think it has something to do with the "premiere date in the past" thing. How can it be a premiere date in the past when I'm premeiring it the same day I'm doing the video information?

Actually, I had this happen as well. I just uploaded two of my friend's AMVs and neither one appeared as the new vid on the block. It remained the same video the entire time.

Of course, I don't think it's a big deal personally, but a reason behind this would be kinda nice.

Yeah, it doesn't make that much of a difference, but knowing I'm 200 hits less than another one of my vids that was "new vid on the block" bothers me.

If I'm not mistaken "new vid on the block" changes anytime and everytime a video is uploaded.

That's the point. It hasn't changed for either him or me when we've uploaded. Not even after quite a bit of waiting.

I'm pretty sure my video didn't get up there either.

Whoa! At least 3 people have had this similar problem? I thought I was just doing something wrong! It used to be perfect a long time ago "last year", but I've had trouble with nearly all of my videos from this year.
