Every video is worth an opinion. Talk about vain.The_Collection wrote:''the chibi things (that kill)'' and "soul anime_baby got all that" are the only two amv that are worth my time to give an opinion.
Besides, those videos have plenty of opinions. Though it is a good gesture to give them more, don't you think that it's the not-so-great videos that really need them?

That from one who hasn't made a AMV yet. You obviously have no idea how much effort it needs to make even an "average" AMV. And you haven't understood what op's are for. They should help the editor to improve, show what they can make better. So average or bad AMV are in higher need of an op than excellent ones. The one op you gave til now isn't only a lie, its useless too because it's straight 10s. Its a lie because no vid is that perfect that it deserves 10s in all categories. And it's useless because the editor gets no hint where to improve. (Except it rises his/her ego).The_Collection wrote:if they dont want to take the time to make a good amv, i dont want to take the time to leave an opinion.

That's like saying, "if you don't take the time to think before you make a thread, then your not getting any of my help!" At least people responded in a somewhat positive way to your threads, even though a lot of times you don't seem to think before you post them.The_Collection wrote:if they dont want to take the time to make a good amv, i dont want to take the time to leave an opinion.
It's hard to determine a lot of times if someone put a lot of effort in a video. Some people can draw great pictures in no time flat, and some could take all day trying to make a nice creation and end up having it look worse than the one that had less effort put on it. What I mean is just because you think a video had no effort put on it, doesn't mean that's the case. Some people try hard in making a great video but end up failing to succeed. IMO, sometimes bad videos deserve more feedback to help the creator than those that obviously don't need as much help. If people were so shallow as to not give them a lending hand or some constructive feedback, then some people would never improve.
