Top 10% New Categories

Post by SephirothJenova » Mon Jan 17, 2005 2:09 pm

I was hoping that since the VCAs are in full swing, and I haven't been keeping up with all of the new AMVs for several months, the Top 10% could be divided up into years. It'd make it easier to see the best videos for the year.

I read a thread similar a while back, that suggested changing the Top 10% divided into years/months also.
I don't remeber it going too well, seeing as Top 10% means Top 10% Videos, regardless of date.

I think the VCAs act as a "Top Videos of the Year List" pretty fairly

Better yet, maybe a filter by date on the Top 10% Video List will be neat?

I'd go for that.

OTOH quite a few of the good videos I've seen pimped in the VCA forums do not have enough ops to appear on the top 10 list so something that sends the message 'these are the greatest videos of the year so ignore all the others' around VCA time may not be the best of ideas
