Ok, i have 2 suggestions. ok, one thing everyone hates is making a video, getting 1000 hits and then only 10 reviews. so, why don't you make it to where say after i down load 3 songs, i atleast have to write 1 review. that away i'll eventually have ot write a review for all of them. makes everyone happy that makes a video. and you give them 3 downloads before review cause they might be getting ready to leave their house for a few hours and that lets them download some while their gone.

next suggestion is to be able to sort by hits. like when you do the supper search have a button to where instead of it being listed by like name or release date, it will be listed by the number of hits. that away if like i have to download something real quick i will be able to find a good one real quick

I don't think this is a very good idea. Bad in fact. Simply said, forced opinions will never turn out good.

The utter disregard that most people have when giving ratings on the Star Scale will only carry itself over to the opinion system. I think it's pretty clear that such an action will make the opinion system useless. (Yes, some would argue that it's pretty useless as-is, but this would make it worse.)

Agreed -- if I got an opinion for every 100 hits, I'd be <i>quite</i> happy with that.

Indeed, I remember when 1000 hits to 1 review was a decent ratio.

The only thing one would have to do to get their vid to the top of that list would be to constantly hit refresh on their browser or on the browsers of non a-m-v.org members if, as i suspect, member's logged in status prevents any multiple viewings of a video's profile as counting as multiple hits. The rating would be meaningless. Hell, you could make a bot that refreshes pages, or even one that spoofs a random IP and does the same thing; that's how people used to make money from banner-clicking services.
