Newbs need help (increased amount of newbs)

Make a sapce for newbs, on their members page that can help them with all things org. This help section will be up for the 2 week prob. period.

How to use the forum:

A site map that can give them better direction:

A collection of links that lead to answers already on the org or posted in the forums:

This suggestion is mainly to help newbs with operating this web site. This may decrease the amount of mistakes that newbs make. Doing this now would be wise because our population has started to grow at a greater pace.

I think that most of the questions that get asked already have answers on the site. Finding them and compiling them into a small book for newbs. (links or separate page)
Most things, do get covered in the statement, but that hasn't helped as much as a help desk for newbs would.

Its late and my ideas may not seem clear at the moment but I will clear anything up that needs to be.

That's sorta hard considering we get over 100-200 newbies per day. And I don't think it can affect only certain people, but it affects the whole group instead of the select few. I don't understand phpBB to the fullest extent yet. It would be too much for the admins to manage though, they have enough on their hands as it is.

You are right and it's being worked on.

Like I said in another thread I want an faq per forum and a main faw linked at the top of the forum itself. THe main site faq is being updated as we speak too.

It's going to get better as the weeks progress.
