After uploading it, you have to go to 'confirm' on the member's page. Once you've done that, it should appear on the video info page within five minutes.

I did. I always do. However, when you get to the confirm page, there is a link to the video info. Unless something has changed since I last uploaded, you are supposed to be able to go to that page and download your video to check it for any errors. That is what I can't do. That has been my problem all along. There is no link on the video info page, which, as far as I'm concerned, says the video didn't upload.

You know what, though? I'm out of options. I'm clicking "Looks good. Go ahead." and seeing what the hell happens. If, in fact, the video isn't there like I think it won't be, I'm sure you can fix it - just giving you a heads up.

Well, here I go...

Heh

Heh

Heh...

excuse me while I go hang myself.

I'm sorry, derobert. I'm very, very sorry for wasting your time like this. It works perfectly.

Come to think of it, my keyboard's cord should be long enough for a slipknot...

Ok. Yeah. The confirm by downloading is in step 2 of the confirm.

LOL, I made the same mistake. Except... no one posted in my help thread, so I had to figure it out myself.

Is there a way the instructions could be made clearer?

I guess you could simply put on the first confirm page, "after filling in the filesize (in bytes) click 'Looks good. Go ahead.' in order to be taken to a page where you can do a test download of your video." Something like that? Seriously, I didn't even remember there was a second confirm page - thus all of these messy problems I've caused everyone.

Also, on the first confirm page, having "Oops. Cancel this upload." is misleading. The uploader doesn't even know if his or her video is there until the next page, so...maybe change what that button says? I'm not sure what you'd change it to, but I'm sure you, dero, can think of something. Or someone else.

Anyway, I hope that helps, at least a little bit. I still can't believe what a n00b mistake I made, but maybe a teeny revamp will prevent that from happening to me - or anyone like me - again.

Once more, thanks for going through all of that trouble for me. Now that I don't want to cause myself a computer-related death, I think you deserve a proper thank you. So, thank you. (Also, thank you to everyone else who loaned their ideas to me. Hey, because of all of you, I now know how to upload with about four different programs/methods... ^_~ )

Ileia-chan - it's good to know I'm not alone. ~_~ ;P

 Oh Man do I feel like an idiot! I did the exact same thing!!!! For some reason I thought thatthe 1st page was where you downloaded the file :p But it was the 2nd!!! I want to thank all of you too! I got kind of frantic cause i was doing all that I could think of and I know that I did it before so it just didn't make sense. Baka Me!
Anyway Thanks Again to everyone that helped! Now I can help my brother who was also having the same problem! I think the suggestions to change the 1st page is an ideal thought.
Thanks Ever SO much!
