You might have downloaded a webpage or something instead of the video.

You have to click the LOCAL link, you should be redirected to another webpage that begins the download automatically. Also:
Me, in a similar thread wrote:You need to tell IE to download media content instead of trying to play it automatically, too. It's in the Options....

Tools/Internet Options, the Advanced tab, make sure "Don't display online media content in the media bar" is checked and "Play videos on websites" is NOT checked. That might help.
This is for IE 6, if you use something else I have no idea....

I think I know

I think I finally figured it out. Honestly, I just started downloading today and I too got the same message. I stumbled upon a possible answer by accident when I logged in using ie instead of secureie like I usually do. I opened my account and looked at the 3 videos that had successfully downloaded.

:P Pending Stars
You have successfully downloaded the following videos and need to give them star ratings. Please be honest in your star rating. If you have 10 pending ratings, you cannot download any further local videos until the ratings are given:

I don't think it's the case with me since I only have 3 but it's a possibility for other users. Whenever I checked a forum for an answer it was either talk about servers or someone evolved into bickering. I wanna see some videos ;_;

Out of curiosity, why are you using SecureIE? Just use Firefox.

:lol: I've never really heard of firefox before now. Secure ie actually came with an antispyware package I ordered from mcafee. I keep getting spyware on my computer :? Downloading amv's from filesharing programs is fun since I can't download too much from the site but the spyware and trojans are problematic :?
