I've made aliases for as many duplicates that I could spot, corrected as many errors as possible and have listed a whole bunch of titles to be "non-anime".
However, nobody is perfect and I'm expecting that there will be some mistakes.
So, I would like everyone to please go to their profile and double check the list of anime in all of your videos to see if there are any mistakes.
It is sometimes likely that an anime title may have changed since you last saw it - Oh! My Goddess becoming Ah! My Goddess and so on. If something has changed but it is totally wrong, please let me know.
You may have "Unknown" listed in your video. If you have this listed it means that the previous entry was something that wasn't a title such as "etc." "surprise" "don't ask". "Unknown" is classed as non-anime and will disqualify you from the VCA if it is the only anime in your video.
Sometimes people were not specific enough when listing an anime. So, any listing that are vague such as "Sol Bianca" (Which version, old or new?). Vague entries have generally been aliased to either the first iteration of a show or the most popular entry (whichever is more appropriate). Of course it's impossible to know which a person really wanted in their video and the same entry will be used by two different people for different purposes. Hence, everyone will have to check their videos.
Also, US versions of shows and fandubs of shows have been aliased to become the complete version of the show e.g. Card Captors will now list as Card Captor Sakura (as the footage is the same) and Evangelion: Redeath is now listed as Neon Genesis Evangelion. Obvious exceptions are where the US version has notably different/altered footage - Robotech has it's own entry, as it should.
I will try and fix as many corrections as I can. Editing specific videos is a little tricky with the current tools but I will do my best. Entries that need changing to avoid VCA disqualification get priority
