need some help

does anyone know of a video editing program that has the same interface as windows movie maker that works well and is easy to use, and doesnt close its self every 5 min, and can import music files and avi files? any info would really be helpfull, wmm is crapping up all the time for me -_-

wax . it aint easy to use, it aint work like wmm, but it does open most common audio/video programs, oh and, its free

wax crashed more often than wmm ... if that's possible ... for me.

virtualdub or virtualdubmod can import video and audio and is less crashy, although its interface would be entirely different from wmm's.

I've always felt the interface for Ulead Video Studio is similiar to Movie Maker and pretty easy to use. Its timeline is a single video line that allows drag and drop from a library like Movie Maker does. It give you the added lines of adding narration, background, titling, and a video overlay. Doesn't crash very often on me. Version 8.0 now has this Movie Wizard mode that is even more simple than Move Maker ever was, in my opinion.

i downloaded uled berfor i read your post, ad your right, its easyer and better then wmm, yet it almost has the same interface. anyway, thanxs for all you help peeps dont forget to check out my trigun vid, made with uled and i would uninstall wmm if i could
