When I realized that another dj_ultima existed on the first site I ever joined, I added the first thing that came to mind - "the_great." End of story.

No seriously, lighten up. I was seeing if I could get a reaction out of anyone on this forum besides the ever popular "OMGHE'SMEANCANYOULOCKTHISTHREADPLSKTHXBYE" I hear from most of these mental midgets. I wear many hats; todays hats are "helpful video guy" and "abrasive asshole".

This forum was great for awhile. There was a spot for the people who wanted to talk about videos, and there was a spot they could go if the didn't. Most of the rampant stupidity was confined to that spot, and if you were squeamish, you didn't go there and "poke the tigers with sticks" so to speak. We were not afraid to say RTFM or Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a> to someone that came in with easily answerable video question that could be found in 5 minutes of reading the tech manual or guides. But I'm reminiscing.

I'm mearly trying to bring a sense of unity back to the forums with the use of humourous commentary on it's inhabitants, perhaps as a last caress of a dying thing.

To be honest, I agree. I'm not very apt with technology, but I refrain from asking questions until I feel I have exhausted every option. Sometimes, though, there are solutions that only another person may be able to point out. Still, the creator should have done a fuck of a lot of research before bringing his/her question to the table.

Times change. It's sad (and a bit irritating) to admit, but it's true. Well, you can always go to General AMV and poke the tigers a bit. There's plenty of "questionable" intelligence to be had there.

All the verbal tigers left after OT died in 2003. Oh well, guess there's nothing to do but take my wacky hijinks on the road with me and set out from this internet facsimile of Cleveland Ohio (shitty town, and no I do NOT want to live there) to parts unknown. After reading so much shits i would really like to see the topic locked cause all you do is flame

It's like smo said he gave credit to euphoria, he did mention he was learning fx effects with this vid and yet he did contrive on his own some really nice effects which in my opinion are better then those in euphoria. And last even that some of the effects were similar to those in euphoria he did make them by himself it's not like he cut some footage from the vid paste it in his own and sait it was his own.He just used the same principle.

I "copy" only one FX from Euphoria - this one 0,27 - 0,30. That's all! and even this one is not identical to the original,couse I put a vertical movement.

About others FX,when I take FX from Euphoria ,I try to "upgrade" it, - are you blind?About the FX in Euphoria ,when I take an Idea for Fx from Eupforia,and put it in FX in my clip,I try to "upgrade" it,to make it more complicated.In Euphoria,where triangle spinning arround the sircle, well,I made it more complicated,in my clip,in 01.58 - 02,15 - can you see?I put 10 different video-streams. Can't you count by 10?I'm sure you can't.
I can easy make 1:1 FXs in Eupforia,but i didn't.

As I said before,this is my first FX video,I never works with FX before ,and I think I did a gread job,and an opinions from a few haters can't change my mind.

i wana know how you "upgrade" effects like thouse used in euphoria... they are so simple, they can't be "upgraded"

your using the same concepts, just differently. which brings me to why everyone keeps refering to any effect as beeing "euphoria-like"

not like that video was the first time anyone has seen a flying rectangle
