If it's parody, hey, it's funny. If it's not, you're duplicating another editor's recognizable editing techniques. Admittedly, there were a few original effects, but most were almost identical to Euphoria's.
And if it was just sort of a training vid for you, it's better to create your own original effects than to replicate someone else's.

If you are 'training', then it's hard as fucking hell to create your own effects. Better try something you've already seen then to create something completely new first off.

There is a difference between someone who swipes an effect without comment and someone who starts a thread to brag about how great he is because he can copy Euphoria.

Oh come'on people I saw a few geometric shapes that were not present in the original euphoria. Emulation is the greatest form of flattery.

If this guy makes "Euphoria-esque" effects, then at least he's learning how to do effects in general.

Besides, did Koopiskeva patent those effects? If so, then I obviously wasn't informed.

This is a good video, and when you take that into consideration, who really gives a flying fuck that he copied "Euphoria"? All that does is give fans of that video another thing to enjoy. I mean, it's not like he doesn't say 'Euphoria-like' in the profile. There. Congrats. Props to Koop. End of story.

Kid, it's not that he copied u4euh.... its that HE MADE A THREAD ABOUT IT, and expected us to give him oral sex for it.

Secondly, he just asked if we liked it/if it was a good effect. He wasn't expecting any kind of "oral sex," as you so uncouthly put it.

So what if he made a thread? That's his right. Obviously the mods haven't stopped it, but I think they will soon because of how rude and insulting everyone has been.

Yeah, all he/she really wanted was to ask our opinion of one of the effects that he/she created. Which, actually, I thought were quite good.

Apparently my brand of particular sarcasm and abrasive humour has gone out of vogue with the youth of today. I must endeavour to bring it back to the forefront of popular .org culture. Is lock and ban all that goes on in this freakshow of a forum these days? Is anyone hated or feared? Is there any flaming at ALL? Is there any mental growth by the populace because of the threads, or do they all get locked the moment they become interesting because some 35 year old virgin is getting "uncomfortable" with how abrasive the thread is getting?

I forgot how much of a sinking ship this place was.
