My First AMV, please tell me what you think!

This forum is to announce newly created/released anime music videos.
Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My First AMV, please tell me what you think!

Postby shamerock2000 » Fri Jul 12, 2002 8:41 am

Hello, this is my first AMV.
The song is: Be Like That
The Artist Is: 3 Doors Down
The Clips are From: Final Fantasy VIII

You should know all clips were ripped from the original PSX FF8 CD's by me, I didn't download the cinematics from any other site.

Please check it out and tell me what you think.

Right click on the link and save target, and if it goes slow, please be patient since ur getting it directly from me.

Not bad!

For a first video I'm impressed. It rivals some of the more experienced AMV creators videos that I've seen. GOOD JOB!

I downloaded it last night, very nicely put together. You can't really tell it was a beginners AMV, good job, that's for sure. ^_^ ...Sorry I don't have time to actually submit an opinion though :(

ummm. just look for a program called PSXMC on google.com. It Rips the Audio, Images, and Cinematics from any game for the Sony PLaystation. :D

Make sure when you get the PSXMC, you get it from the japanese site, since it has the only version of it that works on Win 2000 and XP.

Oh, shamer, the links not working now.

Yes, videos that are coming out from new creators should look pretty good. That is if they have read the guides and gone through everything to make their first video work the way they want. All the resources are out there now but weren't a couple years back. So, it's better now. I'll download the video in question and give you a review. Good Luck on your future videos. 8)
