First attempt at cooking chicken. We'll find out in a few hours if I did it right.

Re: Food thread!
Yogurt, strawberries, and figs. A very good breakfast or dessert, if I do say so myself.
Also, I tried to make some strawberry tartlet cup thingies with some unflavored gelatin, blended and chopped strawberries, and a simple syrup in little vanilla wafer crusts. They're for my brother's birthday, and we'll just have to wait to see how they turn out. I feel like they need some cream element to make them not so... jell-o... but he said he didn't want strawberry cream, so that's that.
Oh, and since I had lots of leftover strawberries, I blended up the crowns, some whole berries, some powdered chocolate milk mix, and a little bit of sugar, and it's making a serviceable smoothie-type drink without wasting any of the crowns, which would have been garbage otherwise. Yay for not wasting food!

Late dinner in Akihabara, totally discusting place but the ramen was OK!
I spent the rest of the night and money trying to tug my way through Crimzon Clover in one of the Arcades.
It's my drug I guess :3

Re: Food thread!
real ramen...hmmm...well that will be hard to find because not even Maruchan is close to the real stuff. Real ramen can be found in places where people are taught to make noodles by hand (its a tradition passed down from hundreds of years by certain apprentice workshops). Unfortunately in Asia, this certain practice of noodle making is losing its mark. Its rather disappointing....
