Saying VLC is shitty is like equivalent of saying that you need more gas in you're car after saying that a full tank isn't enough to drive you 10 miles. I'm sorry but if you cannot run it in VLC then it certainly will not run with anything else. I have had zero issues with it so far. I don't even understand what you mean by you're analogy. How can it not play everything well? There are a slew of options to even deinterlace, blend frames, and adjust the footage as you are watching. I cannot comprehend how something would look worse in another video player. Unless you're running Windows 98.

I'm also fumbled by some of these MP4 sync issues too, it's a first really.

This post clearly shows that you are uninformed about video playback.
VLC 2.0 and following is better than what it used to be (it used to be, quite frankly, shitty), but it still has a number of issues. It still lacks at least a couple features and does not support all formats.
A better solution while still staying outside of directshow would be mplayer2, which is what the conplayer Quu is doing is based on.

Clearly? Honestly if you base my knowledge on a internet posting then I can imply the same. But I'm not surprised to hear that on the org. :P
I'm merely stating my general opinion of the program and nothing else. I'd rather not do the tech talk.

Also sent in my last entries minutes before midnight. Now to play the waiting game.. <_<

I'm curious to see what URL was written on your submission form. Usually the URLs are specific, unless you uploaded to an FTP or a dropbox or something. Interesting way to squeak out a few extra hours of work time.

I just said you were uninformed about video playback, because anybody in the know about it would know that VLC has been a mediocre playback software at best for many years (it has only started improving in more recent times) and that there are better softwares. In that post you said "I'm sorry but if you cannot run it in VLC then it certainly will not run with anything else" which quite frankly was more than enough to start assuming on the specific subject (and nothing else). I suppose I came off as rude, but I can say that it was not meant as an insult, that is for sure, but just as a pointing out facts.

I typically upload to FTP but I tinkered with the control panel settings so I screwed up my own access. But I did use dropbox, which is a time saver since its just a drag and drop. You just share with short URLs. I actually did not work on them last night, I just was not home to upload them so I had to literally guide someone on the phone, and on my computer to push them to dropbox. I also had mobile access to it too, so that's how I managed to get a link to send.

Ah, now I understand what you mean. I guess again, I generalized a bit too much on what I said about VLC but I was just thrown off a bit with you're statement earlier, but no worries.

If he sent it by Priority mail, he should be ok. I live in PA, and I got my entry postmarked yesterday. It's going to be there tomorrow apparently.
