To MysteriousRyder: Be prepared, becase your video is going to be just like the controversy with Nightowl Studios' "Love Is Flowers" from about 10 years ago.

I liked your video, but to me it's not a comedy. (And just because a video has yaoi content doesn't automatically mean that it's a comedy. When will people ever realize that?) If your video truly is a drama video, then it should ideally compete in the category that you intended it to compete in. Of course we can't control whether the coordinator will allow it to compete in the intended category, or if others in pre-judging believe that it should be in a different category.

I can't believe you got edged out by that Caanan video that's been making the rounds. I liked how you pulled off a fine action video using Miyazaki footage. Nicely done.

My new video didn't do so well at all, finishing in a very poor 5th of 6. I did tweak the video since then and sent it to other contests, but I have a feeling it's another longshot chance on making the cut. I think it's an even more-so longshot chance now, but stranger things have happened to my videos, especially last year. We'll see.

I was told by my staffers there were a few mumbles in the crowd (basically about the violence) but it wasn't like anyone left the room over it. I know Brakus was quite pleased with the result as well and, apparently, vehemently supported your entry's inclusion. Anyway, it was very well-done. You earned it.
