Best Instrumental Video

Postby angelx03 » Thu Jan 06, 2005 8:08 am

And I say it's a good time to use the new Instrumental filter! :D

So here are my choices:

Bakadeshi's Angel Redemption

Otohiko's The Wasteland

Janzki's The Bird Who Flew Too Far (well, I said I'll nominated this video last year for the VCA of 2005
 )

Jasper Isis's Absolution (which is SERIOUSLY underrated :? )

I second this.

This vid tops my instrumental list, how can it still have only two ops. Maybe I should do something about that, like stop being lazy, maybe.

I knew I could trust you. :D

Punistation's A Bottle Fairy Tale would have been my Instrumental of the year, but she hasn't entered it in the catalogue. :(

That would be very nice, actually.

But back on topic: I think that Bakadeshi's Angel's Redemption would get my vote. I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Working on that right now, providing my internet connection holds.

Now I'd like to work in a little self-pimpage if I may. Instrumental is probably the catagory I care about the most next to action. I put a great deal of effort into my latest video, Face of the Enemy, and I'd like to recommend it for nomination consideration. The audio is somewhat unorthodox but it fit the concept well.
I would also like to maybe recommend Shy Hinata, Powerful Neji! (Special Edition). She was a finalist a Anime USA 2004 and sports one of my favorite instrumental tracks of all time.

Actually, the absolute best Instrumental video I've seen is Reflections of a Goddess. This is the most underated AMV I've seen. Ever. This video seriously kicks ass, and it only has 5 oppinions. Come on people, this video was AWESOME and deserves a TON of recognition. It's about 9 minutes long, and it's so proffessionaly done it will blow your mind away.

Agreed. The music itself is amazing. When I first downloaded this vid, I couldn't get over how beautiful the piece was. The editing was also done very well.

I just watched it all the way through, and I have to say, I was thuroughly amazed, once again. Everything about the video is amazing. It is the standard against which I compare all Instrumental Videos.

Once again, that's Reflections of a Goddess. YOU MUST SEE THIS VIDEO.

That video... rocked my world. That was amazing. I agree, this should just about be required viewing for instrumental AMVs.
