Leaving aside the bits that looked like you tried to lip-sync, it was a lot of fun. I liked the goofy Hammer on Hammer faces, and the Thor cameo was another nice touch.

@Mister Anderson: Sounds nice. Time to check it out.

I made a time lapse video with my EOS 7D and underlayed it with music...

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the specific parts.

As anyone who edits with live action will tell you, its virtually impossible to achieve even really good lip sync unless the actors are saying the exact same words. Then it sometimes comes down to using time toggles to match the speed of the lip sync. Don't look to this vid expecting to see lip sync. Instead focus more on the the body language of the Sam Rockwell and what he trying to express with the rest of his body to the lyric.

Heres another example of an live action source remixed to different trailer audio:

Is the lip sync perfect? No. Its good but not great. What helps here is quick cut aways from the talking actor through their dialogue and some very clever shot selections.

Is it still awesome in spite of less than perfect lip sync? Hell yes! 8-)

That's a pretty decent effort for a what is primarily a still camera. I initially thought it was P2 handy cam or similar taking 5 frame captures every minute or so, until I googled the model number.

This is a short ambient/instrumental music video that I made with my EOS 7D camera:

Title: The Empty Lake
Footage: Original Live Action
Musical Artist: Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross
Song: It Catches Up With You
Genre: Instrumental/Ambient/Melancholic

I recommend Vimeo due to higher streaming quality. It looks excellent on this site.
