Re: It Means Nothing...
I haven't seen a lot of 5cm amvs like probably everyone else has. I really liked this one a lot. It was simple and sweet and that's the sort of thing that just really gets me.

Slow downed parts were jumpy ;_;
Also the effects at 1:00 and at the end were weird :/
Otherwise great, very nice pick of the song...

Btw, as I wrote this, in my playlist on shuffle (it has over 11 days total) 5cm theme song (instrumental version) started to play

Well those effects were me just experimenting a little, I kinda liked how the effect at the end looked :/Slow downed parts were jumpy ;_;

The slowed down parts were jumpy due to the decompression, the video became a little choppy....and some of the scenes were really too short to allow me to use them at normal speed, so I had stretched them out to try to get them to fit, which probably didn't help the choppiness any
*edit* That instrumental piece was really great, gotta remember to put that back in my rebuilt playlist.... *hunts for song somewhere in one of these hard drives...*

Re: It Means Nothing...
Good one
but only good, nothing what could be so outstanding
Thanks for explanation with choppy part, cos I thought that something is happening with my pc
About effect at 1:00 for me well done
works fine with a whole vid. I would rather complain about phonebox, on the bottom-left there is a little part that you leave on color but this is not a part of phone box
cos I can even see car's tire there (0:41), also the left edge could be done in greyscale, cos it's shining so much that makes it unnatural imo
Still fine
video, I didn't regret that I have watched this one
4/5

Re: It Means Nothing...
Sayco, thanks for the advice; I didn't notice that I left that piece, on checking back the timeline, the path didn't close properly so that mask for that specific area didn't register. That has now been fixed. I know it was simple masking, but I'm slowly trying to build my confidence in using slightly more complex tools in the editor, as opposed to just simply selecting scenes and crossfading; still trying to see if I can get a good handle on building the correct atmosphere for my AMVs, I hope I'm getting better slightly. For now though, 4/5 makes me more than happy enough.

I liked it
at first didn't like the song, but it really fit into the 'atmosphere'.
If you do not think so... you will DIE
