Good idea/bad idea? (NTHT trailer idea.)

So...I had an idea recently that, as an AMV goes, admittedly is a bit of an odd one.

But, at the same time, I've been finding, concept wise, it's a really hard one to pass up.

The concept:
Anime - Now and Then, Here and There
Audio - Trailer for the German movie 'Downfall'

Now, the first problem here is that, naturally, all of the trailer's dialogue is in German, which kind of limits the audience.

So, the idea was considering. Subtitle the German...but, for the setting, make the appropriate minor tweaks to the subs...mostly name changes (Hitler to Hamdo, Berlin to Hellywood, etc.)

You can look up the trailers pretty easy on the ol' Boochsack, if you want to give it a look for yourself.

So yeah...what do you guys think...is this a viable idea worth pursuing? Or just kind of an odd notion I should probably just let go?
