The ballad of unrequited love

Post by Andyme » Tue Oct 13, 2009 10:40 am

Sorry for the double post.

My first work with Adobe after effects, but don't go easy on me. Editing this amv took me 3 months of work, but in truth I've only worked on it for one month. To put it mildly, It was drawn due to some technical problems. Oh and.. I can't provide you any picture, it will be posted once we buy a new video card. ^^" Btw, I want to really, really thank to the org forum for the help! They saved this amv, because I was about to delete it all. Thank you! :)

That was.....

That was.....

Excellent. :awesome:

One of [if not] the best use of School days ever. Best use of effects to tell a story/be practical I think I've ever seen too.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the black fades, but it was highly appropriate after I watched it a few time. The quality had some issues, but overall, that's not much to complain about.

Wow, cool pic, and the AMV is awesome, too! One of the best hungarian AMV for 2009, but that's just my opinion.
we are awesome

First off, you should really request a local download for your amvs.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... upload.php

Second, this amv is way too good to not have translated lyrics in its video description. It fits so perfectly that I kinda wish you had added subtitles and a bouncing ball to sing along LOL. (or better yet, a bouncing bloody knife!)

I absolutely loved this, and really wanna watch School Days now. I've never see it before, so watching this amv was a really big HOLY SHIT moment for me LOL

Translated Lyrics

Probablemente ya
Probably, already
de mi te has olvidado
you have forgotten about me
Y mientras tanto yo
and meanwhile I
te seguiré esperando
will continue waiting for you
No me he querido ir
I haven't wanted to leave
para ver si algun dia
to see if one day (just in case)
que tu quieras volver
that you may want to come back
me encuentres todavia
you may still find me

Por eso aun estoy
That is why I am still
en el lugar de siempre
in the same place as always
en la misma ciudad
in the same city
y con la misma gente
and with the same people
Para que tu al volver
So that when you return
no encuentres nada extraño
you don't find anything strange
y sea como ayer
and [everything] be as yesterday
y nunca mas dejarnos
and we never break up again

Probablemente estoy
Probably I am
pidiendo demasiado
asking for too much
Se me olvidaba que
I had forgotten that
ya habiamos terminado
we had already finished
que nunca volveras
that you will never come back
que nunca me quisiste
that you never loved me
Se me olvido otra vez
I had forgotten again
que sólo yo te quise
that only I loved you

Probablemente ya
Probably, already
de mi te has olvidado
you have forgotten about me

First off, you're absolutely right. I wanted to add the lyrics, but recently I haven't had time for that, I'm just too busy with work, and I've forgotten about it...

Second, Really thank you for the english lyrics and your comment. :)

Esto fue increible... I enjoy seeing editors of other countries use music in Spanish!

The scene selection was very good, the synchronization with the lyrics was great, I love the idea, and the ironic atmosphere around the concept, very good work !!!!!

5/5

I thought it was creepy imo. I read before I watched its a "serious" amv,
I'm not sure if I read that correct now because
this woman's voice was like driving the action up the wall, just building it up
Even though I didn't like the glows, (I REALLY didn't like the glows)
to me it overpowered the facial expressions towards the beginning.
I'm not sure why you chose to use the glows that way, but I got to say 5/5

Yeah you definitely can't come into this amv with a humorous (ie Aesling's Pro AMV) attitude.

I've never seen School Days or any amvs to it but this amv makes it look TOO GOOD! I don't know a lick of the language (Hungarian? I thought that sounded more like a belly rumbling >.< *badum bum*) either but thought it was executed brilliantly. I just pretty much replace the song with another melodramatic song in my mind... but it's always good to have the translations too!
If you do not think so... you will DIE
