I was beta tested by Orwell and Tear from #amv. And for Orwell to give it his seal of approval is just great! I hope this video gets a lot of attention. I learned a lot more non-effect related things while making this amv and i applied them. This stars out slow like Tomoyo's and Nagisa's relationship then blossoms! I'm very proud of this and actually worked off and on it for 2 weeks. I was testing footage and music and finally found my muse and began serious editing ^_~. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think! This is..totally not like anything i've ever done. But i recommend reading the video description. It explains more ^_^ If you read this whole thing, arigatto!

Couldn't find a theme, nothing interesting in the video, and honestly it's flat out too long and boring.
Maybe next time try making sure the song compliments the anime, by more than just 1 or 2 lyric's in the song.

Well well well...

I just watched it, and i can say you have improved quite a lot. Especially in the beginning, i thought that it would amaze me with all those fade outs (yeah... even though they were 2...).

What else... well, i'm sorry but i also have to say that you did a terrible job on lip sync . I mean, i was watching the characters talking, and it didn't feel like they were saying the lyrics of the song at all - it was more like some random scenes with people talking. Moreover, it felt like that, in some parts of the song, you didn't edit anything at all. You just had to shorten your clips and put some more of them.

And... as for the end of the amv... I really hope AaronAMV doesn't see this.

And yeah, I agree, you're improving rather well. Some good effort on this video and, imho, no big problems. It's not really my kind of song/idea, but I can appreciate this at least.

I just finished a Clannad amv that is meant to be sad and depressing. So this happy and uplifting amv was actually really refreshing for me. The lip sync definitely needs improving, but overall, this is a nice amv.

My advice to you is to slow down a bit. Within the last month, you have released 9 different amvs. And I feel that each one of them (especially this one) could have been greatly improved if you had spent more time on it. For example, there isn't really any timing "mistakes or problems" in your video, but I feel that all of them could have been improved if you had experimented a bit more. (like comparing how a full second fade in looks instead of a half second fade in. Or changing the playback speed of certain clips in order to make key moments begin and end at the right time)
I personally feel that the key to improving isn't simply making more videos. The key to improving is to work on each one of your videos till the point where you truly feel that you have pushed the absolute limit of your current editing ability. And the more times you reach this limit, the more experience you'll receive. But even so, I wholeheartedly acknowledge the fact that you are definitely making progress.

And like i said, this amv is a really refreshing spin on a series that is usually shown in a sad and slightly melancholic perspective. You truly are amazing when it comes to picking songs, anime, and matching their feeling.
