  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.

Country Music AMV

Post by Greatest_Blade_master » Sat Jun 20, 2009 12:22 am

I remember being told country music isn't done for amv's cause country songs tell a story and its hard to match anime to the story.

Well Here is my video attempt at mixing anime with a country song. Okay. So some of it is REALLY corny and bad. But i think It works well and that what's being said matches whats being show.

Anyway this is just the start of an Anime Country Mix AMV I've had in my mind for a while. and I've just started on it. I'll probably use part of this video in the other one. we'll have to see. This one took me about a day. Its not going to win any awards but now that its out of the way I can focus on this other AMV on the weekends when I'm not working and really put some seriously hard effort into it. I dunno if you can sweat blood while editing but i will try!

well Here it is. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... p?v=169162

Also I've been told That my first couple of amv's we're my best ones if people don't like this maybe check them out and point me to where I was doing things RIGHT.

When posting a new entry in here, please use the [vidid] [/vidid] feature, to present details for your video...

To do so, paste the number at the end of your link (after 'v='), in between the code above...like this:

[vidid] 169162 [/vidid] (remove the spaces inside though)...

If done correctly, you should get:

Failure to do so may get this thread nuked, so please adjust to suit in due time.

With regards to the video, the biggest problem I see is that the scenes aren't cut properly - some scenes transition late, which lose out on a lot of the feeling...

Also, the scenes selected don't really carry the intention of the song, so it loses out a lot due to that factor...

I'd suggest you really put in some more time and care in editing the video, next time it could come out better...

2/5.
