Anime trailer I did for Amecon 2008's AMV contest, finally got around to uploading it to the org after all these months

Won the 'Amecon committee award for putting Gendo Ikari in a likeable role', which I'm quite proud of !

That was... pretty good, actually. I went into it thinking "Oh God someone else made an Iron Man Trailer AMV. Let the failure ensue," but I was pleasantly surprised.
One of the better ones, in my opinion. Good job.

Thanks - glad you like it.
I always seem to have trouble actually saving a proper final video - it either renders with the audio out of sync with the footage or the final file is always too large, until I get something that looks passable and I don't really know how I did it - I just can't seem to get my head around it, even with guides . I'll figure it out one day tho..

I agree that the resolution was probably what disappointed me most about this video and as a consequence, the quality also suffered a bit, though I'm not sure how much better your original source material's quality would have been to start with.

Anyway, great execution, very entertaining and it all just fits. Only one scene really stuck out as something that should have been improved and that's the tank bit at the end... there's plenty of tanks being blown up in Eva, so those could have been better picked. I'll definitely keep this though as it's a good showpiece for panels and whatnot.

Wow, I actually enjoyed this trailer. Well-done quality issues aside. It would have been awesome if you could use Rebuild of Evangelion for much better quality but there's no Eva-02 in there for your "make it red" part of the trailer.
