Electro World.

Created by: iGREASE/SakurasDearest both me. D:
Movie:
Yogurting Amv.
Song:
"Electro World" by Perfume
Game:
Yogurting (Korean, but I'm pretty sure there is a Japanese version).
Style: Dance, Techno, Pop.

Well, this is pretty much my 3rd amv that I have actually some what tried to put some effort into. The original video is from a Korean Game (Should be a Japanese version somewhere) called "Yogurting". I used the Opening and Yogurting "Always" PV. It was fun to make even though it didn't take me really long.

Also give me some good old hard criticism.
And make sure it's nice and loud!
Well, enjoy.

Explain to me why you have these expansive black borders? Randomly recutting 6 mins of footage is also.. questionable..

Why? Or rather How?

The reason I have the black borders is because the two different videos were different sizes and I couldn't get it the right way to save my life. I would change the size, and the video would be all deformed and stuff.

What do you mean by how? Lol.

By how I mean multiple things..

The boarders are one of those. The audio is fucking up like all hell and hurts like all hell simply because you managed to change the original [presumably]44KHz into 48KHz. Having a 100 meg file for 2:10 mins of video/audio is straight up astonishing if you take into account that it looks all smudged up. This is again thanks to two things you somehow deemed "smart[?]". One being the clear bad job at upscaling footage and secondly using WMV as a distro codec.

While Yogurting Always and the Yogurting OP are originally different aspect ratio's. Neither is actual 16:9 and both use 4:3, the OP while 16:9 merely uses letter boxing.

-Yog Always 640x480
-Yog OP 720x540

[And in case you also used that as its a rehash of the above with game play]
-Yog Play 720x480

Looking at those source resolutions does 1280x720 make any sense what so fucking ever? Where as you clearly show you know how to crop by cropping Yog Always effectively. Why do you then think its smart to leave in black bars regardless?

None of your choices make sense while clearly showing your capable enough.

Asfor the video itself editing wise it was a mere rehash. Its kind of like how I like to mix 2 flavors of yogurt together you know? Just.. all screwed up and sour.

Nice, this is the kind of stuff I want to hear. Thanks for being completely honest. I think the main problem is that I honestly don't know what a lot of the stuff you said means and/or how to do it. Lol.

ugh, this video put yogurting to shame...

The "Always" music video on the korean site will never be surpassed. Why? Because the animation was specifically created for that song.

The footage is better off being used in an MEP on a short song or something. There isnt enough footage to make a whole amv out of it, (or atleast a good one in my opinion).

I agree with Molly for the most part, the different sizes dont bother me as much but unless you can incorporate some kind of theme there is nothing new to see.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
