Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Anime's Ready to Die
Hi all, brand new here, so if I do sum'n wrong, please forgive me. (Though I did read the etiquette rules.)
I am completely new to making AMVs, so this is my very first one. I like it, and hopefully you will too.
I wanted to make an AMV where Light from Death Note is the one killing all our avorite anime characters, so I did! (Note: Someone has already sent me a message saying that this has already been done, blah blah. Well that's fine, but as far as I'm concerned every AMV is different based on who made it, and furthermore I pose this question: What HASN'T been done before? Can you tell me one thing that hasn't been done in AMVs? No, because if you could, you'd have done it!)
I do realize that there are about 2 flashes of stray frames somewhere in the video, but I zoomed in to the billionth of a frame and still was unable to cut them out (despite them not appearing in the preview), so yes, they are there. But as I said, this is my first AMV, and all early AMVs need signs of a newbie, right?
So, without further adieu, I present to you,
Anime's Ready to Die
Enjoy!
Song: Ready to Die by Andrew W.K.
Also: This AMV is Spoiler City, so make sure you've see all the animes listed.

Yah, subtitles Not good. Plus you obviously downloaded your clips.. probably from Limewire or some shit.. Don't do that. As for the actual video, Eh.. Decent premise and you tried to pull it together, But really it didn't link together. I mean, I know what you were trying to do, but you pretty much just Showed people dying with random scenes of him Writing, Didn't really synch with the song for the most part, you did at certain parts, but for the most part not so much.

Thanks for the feedback (I guess?).
1) Haven't seen animassacre.
2) There are two instances of subtitles. 3 if you count "eliminate," but I wanted that there.
3) No, I got yew-tewb (screw you elitist assholes) clips, 'cause I was working with what I had. Which was, incidentally, nothing. And while I agree some scenes didn't sync up, most did. Thought went into each writing 'style' and how the character died. But oh well. If that doesn't show then whatev.
Either way, it was my first video. All first videos will have their problems, right?
