Dance for two

Post by -MD » Sun Aug 12, 2007 10:47 pm

Old video I left in my closet 2 months ago. I decided to just throw it on the site a few days ago (had to do some cleaning first). Slow dance video. Read comments about the video so you know what it is about.

Me wants!

EDIT: That was really nice eye-candy. The best thing was how you managed to capture this song pretty well by using those dance scenes, no matter how repeatative they got towards the end.. Also, nice work introducing a new character one after another in your vid. That worked smoothly.

However, the sync needs some work. It wasn't progressive enough for my liking, but flowed on nicely, with some distracting twitches on its way.. Was this mainly lyrical sync? Because it was pretty hard to tell. Some cuts and fades didn't seem like they were placed on any beats or lyrics..

Oh, yeah, and the video quality needs some cleaning up as well. Was it just me or did the video actually twitch? (motion scenes and pans didn't seem smooth..)

Anyways, nice work

{Emong}: Glad you enjoyed. Yea I saw the twitchy scene transitions :( They kinda mess up the mood. The reason it happened was because it was kinda my first time editing with that program. I tried changing the opacity so it would come in just right for certain scenes. I kinda ended up doing it through out the whole video...I think I did use some cross overlays which would have worked better if I were more knowledgeable about my program at the time.

Megamom: Thank you. I thought the song would work perfect for tutu (no other song I have would work for a video like this)
