Ulead Videostudio 10 error

Post by Reen@ » Thu Mar 29, 2007 1:04 pm

Sorry to bump in here again.

I tried to burn a videoproject through Ulead Vstudio 10, I select menu and such and everything is ok until I want to burn my stuff. Then it simply says "Convert step got some problems [257:0:0]"

Any suggestions? How do I get rid of this?

Could it be the problem that I put an Avi, MPEG1 and WMV together in one project..?

It could if you don't have enough RAM.

Sorry but I've never seen this error before. It's a sure bet, though,that if you're editing with DivX or XviD than you shouldn't. If your AVIs are encoded in either, try transcoding to lossless compressors like HuffYuv and export again.

It can't be my RAM space, I have 4.7GB on the disk and the project with menu takes in about 312MB.
I merged the project together into one project, a MPEG file. Same problem again.
However, when I tried to make a PAL DVD Dolby Digital, it said he failed to open MPEG encoder.
Coudl that be it?
Furthermore, I use a DVD+R disk to burn on, could that be my problem? On the back it says a DVD+R/RAW cannot be written on a DVD+R disk. Perhaps that is the problem.
Is there any way I could look at my "burn settings" to look if I am right?

Otherwise, could anyone please recommand me a program to burn a disk WITH creating a menu?

RAM =/= hard drive space.

You can have 500TB of hard drive space, if you're stuck with a 256MB DDR1 RAM, it won't be very useful to have all that space.
