12 is good because if you're using paypal, with a credit card, you have to donate at least $12 anyway - even if you pledge $10 you have to donate more to use paypal. I remember trying to skimp one year with a $10 donation and paypal caught me - they made me bump it up to $15. -.-;

Paypal treats you very oddly indeed... I donate $10 a year just fine with it.
