ANIME - Fullmetal Alchemist
SONG - "This Animal I Have Become" by 3 Days Grace

Artifical Animal is an AMV I've had in my head for weeks and, until recently, never really worried about makeing. Still, practice makes perfect and I am despertaely out of shape AMV wise so I decided to make the video for a few reasons:

1. To learn ( via trial by fire ) how to encode a .divx file thats a good reslution, not a squished .MOV file. This may sound common to most but I've never really had a reason to need to do such a thing sooo, yea

2. Work at lip-synching and getting a better sense of timeing - I'll say it now, no, this video doesnt follow every single beat to the point of needing so many images you get a headache ( I learned that lesson w/ P. Alchemist X_X ). Still, the timeing I feel is at least solid and it was good for me to play around with it again

3. To TRY and work at haveing 1 theme throughout the AMV. I felt notoriously bad for makeing an AMV to fir a few key lyrics in a song them dumping extra footage that makes little/no sense when I was younger and thats a habbit I want to shake off. So, here, we have the simple story of each of the Homunculi. I think Envy and Greed got the better end of the screen time stick buy hey, they're all in there :3

4. To just do something fun! This video I doubt will break new ground and you've all seen FMA vids before. I look foreward to moveing to Hellsing and some other animes so this little FMA vid is my last one, at least for a little while.

NOW THEN - Because I cant find anything saying it is a "looked down upon" format but I trust everybody can play DivX? I see a lot of stuff for XVid which is what I am ( litterally ) looking into right now. O_o I trust it'll be taken better than a .MOV file and I like the quality/screen size for the 30 MB this amv is.

Enjoy! ~ Mike

Very nice. I like the hommunculi in FMA. Nice video, quality and effects could use some work, though. 3.5/5
