Okay, this is the deal.

I'm trying to learn how to make AMVs, not slide show AMVs. But, I don't know how to download the video clips to make one on my own. Will someone please help?

this isn't a chat room, most times it takes more than 2 minutes to get a reply.
and asking where to downlad anime footage is against the forum rules.

there are a few very good guides on the site that you should check out.

I'd have you read Phade's theory guide, Kalium's theory primer, EADFAG (aka ErMaC and Abosulte Destiny's guide to all things audio and video mk 2)
, Madbunny's action video guide and SQ's how to action sync guide

that should get you started
